Washington D.C. - Chairman of the House Democracy Partnership (HDP), Representative Peter Roskam (R-IL) and Ranking Member, Representative David Price (D-NC), are pleased to congratulate Derek Mitchell, newly announced president for the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
“We are very fortunate to have Derek as the new head of the NDI,” said Rep. I‘m confident that Derek’s ability to broaden the scale of global democracy will point the world towards a brighter future.”
“This is a pivotal time for the cause of democracy across the globe, and Ambassador Mitchell is well equipped to preserve and strengthen democratic institutions worldwide,” said Rep.
