ASK PETER: An Obamacare Watchdog

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Peter Roskam (IL-06) released the latest installment of Ask Peter today, a frequent video conversation with Sixth District residents about issues important to them. In this segment, Congressman Roskam answers an email from Judith Le Maire from Crystal Lake who wants to know what Congress is doing to demand transparency and accountability from the Obama Administration when it comes to the implementation of the president’s healthcare law.

The Administration hasn’t been forthcoming and in fact has stonewalled investigators who are trying to get to the bottom of things. Americans deserve a full and fair accounting of this law. That’s why I have introduced new legislation called the Special Inspector General for Monitoring the Affordable Care Act, or SIGMA.”
