Washington, D.C. — While today marks the end of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the battle to find a cure and improve treatment options will go on. U.S. Representative Peter J. Roskam recently spoke on the House floor to recognize a very special constituent. Chase Ewoldt survived a rare form of childhood cancer and went on to become a nationwide Ambassador for St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Rep. Roskam co-sponsored the STAR Act late last year to support childhood cancer research. He previously recognized Chase with an Extension of Remarks in the Congressional Record and a ceremony at Emerson Elementary School in Wheaton.
